I’m so glad you’ve found your way here! My journey in mental health began in 2012, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, including psychiatric units, outpatient and intensive substance abuse treatment, women’s recovery houses, vocational rehabilitation, and private practice. Through this diverse experience, I’ve been able to work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from depression, anxiety to relationship issues, trauma and substance abuse.
I approach therapy with a blend of compassion, patience, empathy, balanced humor, and evidence-based practices. My primary therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I have additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, Cognitive Processing Therapist, and Clinical Trauma Professional. I am passionate about staying current on the latest research and interventions in the field, dedicating significant time to professional development and continuing education.
I serve to assist you identify your blind spots while navigating tough roads. We collaborate on increasing ways to help you manage the ebbs and flows of life. Whether you’re struggling with mental health issues like depression or anxiety, trauma, substance use, or relationship challenges, I am here to help you navigate these obstacles.
I believe in validating and exploring the impact of the intersectionality of oppression on mental and physical health. I prioritize helping clients reclaim their voice by fostering empowerment through self-awareness, acceptance, compassion, education, grief management, exploring trauma (historical, intergenerational, global, cultural, etc.), rebuilding, and advocacy.
